About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Huntley, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in catheterization procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Illinois.
- Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Cath Lab Technologist program.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating catheterization equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
