Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $65-69 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Winfield, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Monitor patient vital signs and record data accurately.
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Document procedures and patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Illinois.
• Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (preferred).

Skills

• Proficiency in operating catheterization laboratory equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
