About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Cooperstown, New York.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare patients for catheterization procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in catheterization procedures.
- Document patient data accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in New York State.
- Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining catheterization lab equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited training program in Cath Lab Technology.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
Skills
- Strong technical skills in catheterization procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
