Assured Nursing is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization, ensuring accurate and safe patient care.
• Document all procedures and patient data accurately and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Current certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
