Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $47-51 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure counseling and equipment setup.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Document patient data accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in Tennessee.
• Experience in performing cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Proficiency with medical equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.

Pay
