Local CDL Route Driver- Moses Lake, WA

LakeSide Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is seeking a safety-minded Commercial Licensed Driver to join our team in Moses Lake, WA.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–3:00 PM
• Occasional Saturday as needed
• 45–50 hour work week

Pay

$29.15 per hour

Responsibilities

• Safely drive on specified routes to collect solid waste
• Read route tablet and service each customer identified on the route or assigned by the dispatcher
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles (check fluids, safety equipment, tires)
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading, sometimes without helpers
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities
• Interact courteously with customers
• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with Airbrake endorsement
• Clean driving record
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds
• Safety-minded approach
• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and stand for 8+ hour shifts
• Basic knowledge of truck components to complete DOT pre- and post-trip inspections

Working Conditions

• Extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds throughout an 8+ hour shift
