Local CDL Mixer Driver

About the role
This position involves operating concrete mixer trucks to deliver ready-mixed concrete locally within Greater Rochester and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate mixer trucks and report equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain truck cleanliness and wash out the mixer between and after deliveries to ensure proper vehicle condition.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections according to DOT guidelines.
- Work independently and make sound decisions to ensure safety and performance for yourself, customers, and co-workers.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and customers at all times.
- Strictly adhere to company safety requirements and procedures.
Requirements
- Valid State Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Ability to use GPS, read maps, and follow delivery routes.
- Effective communication via radio and truck tracking systems.
- Ability to lift 50 lb chutes and climb ladders as needed.
- Working knowledge of commercial trucks and related equipment.
Pay
$25–$30 per hour.
