Responsibilities
- Handle all local truckload deliveries
- 98% primarily drop and hook
- Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 2-5 routes per shift
- Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 8-11 hour shifts
Requirements
- 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
- Must be at least 23 years of age or older
- Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
- Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
- No record of being disqualified to drive
- PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
Qualifications
- Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Skills
- Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
- Ability to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
