LOCAL CDL DRIVER

Job Summary

Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook. Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for 10-14 hours shifts. Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle and pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (150 of miles) making about (1-6 routes daily) routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (10-14 hours) shifts
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must have 1-year CDL-A driving experience within the past 3 years
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including eye protection and safety shoes

Pay

$28.00/hr. - $28.50/hr.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 600 AM - 700 AM up to 14 hours Daily or 60 hours weekly
• 2nd shift: 1000 AM up to 14 hours Daily or 60 hours weekly
