Local CDL Delivery Driver
About the role
We are hiring a Local CDL Delivery Driver in Burley, ID. Pay begins at $27/hour with eligibility for Quarterly Bonuses. Referral Bonus. Responsibilities
- Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
- Collects empty cylinders from customers.
- Records transactions and obtains signatures.
- Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction.
- Handles loading/unloading.
- Cleans and maintains the vehicle's condition.
- Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance.
- Works independently, managing time effectively, and reading material safety data sheets.
Requirements
- At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience that is verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude, is a plus.
- A Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain your Hazmat upon contingency of offer.
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is essential and at least 21 years of age.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL with a Hazmat endorsement.
- Ability to lift up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
- Frequent bending, walking, standing, and driving for up to 8 hours a day.
- Experience with compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods delivery.
Skills
- The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and read Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
