Location: Hutchinson, KS - Retail shop

About the role

Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Collects empty cylinders from customers. Records transactions and obtains signatures. Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction. Handles loading/unloading. Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance. Presents a professional appearance and upkeeps the vehicle's condition.

This role requires a high degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver products, routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with the aid of material handling equipment. You will be frequently bending and driving for up to 8 hours a day of hazardous cargo.

Responsibilities

  • Be a Customer Ambassador: Primary point of contact for customers, driving an established route to deliver compressed gas cylinders and related products. Handle customer orders, resolve service complaints, and build strong relationships.
  • Safety and Efficiency: Safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload products from company-provided straight or box truck, adhering to all DOT and company regulations.
  • Maintain Your Vehicle: Perform routine maintenance checks and keep the truck clean, ensuring it is ready for daily routes.

Requirements

  • At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience that is verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years, or a recent graduate from an accredited driving school.
  • Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain your Hazmat upon contingency of offer.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and read/comprehend material safety data sheets.

Pay

Pay begins at $30/hour with eligibility for Quarterly Bonuses and Referral Bonus.

Schedule

Monday through Friday. Full-time consistent scheduling. Benefits start after just 30 days of employment.
