About the role

Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Collects empty cylinders from customers, records transactions, and obtains signatures. Addresses customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction. Handles loading and unloading, conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, notes issues, and ensures safety compliance. Presents a professional appearance and maintains the vehicle's condition.

You will be the primary point of contact for customers, driving an established route to deliver compressed gas cylinders and related products. You’ll handle customer orders, resolve service complaints, and build strong relationships. You’ll safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload products from a company-provided straight or box truck, adhering to all DOT and company regulations. Perform routine maintenance checks and keep your truck clean.

This role requires a high degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver products, routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with the aid of material handling equipment. You will frequently bend and drive for up to 8 hours a day while transporting hazardous cargo.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
  • Collect empty cylinders from customers and record transactions.
  • Obtain customer signatures and address inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, noting any issues and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and upkeep of the vehicle.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and keep the truck clean.

Requirements

  • At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years, or recent graduation from an accredited driving school.
  • Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain it upon contingency of offer.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High degree of physical capability and stamina, routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
  • Ability to frequently bend, walk, stand, and drive for up to 8 hours a day while transporting hazardous cargo.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and read/comprehend material safety data sheets.

Pay

Pay begins at $29/hour with eligibility for Quarterly Bonuses and Referral Bonus.

Schedule

Full-time, consistent scheduling with Monday through Friday shifts and possible alternating weekends on call in case of business needs. Benefits start after just 30 days of employment.
