About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
  • Collects empty cylinders from customers.
  • Records transactions and obtains signatures.
  • Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Handles loading/unloading.
  • Cleans and maintains the vehicle's condition.
  • Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Works independently, managing time effectively, and reading material safety data sheets.

Requirements

  • At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience that is verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years, or a recent graduate from an accredited driving school.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude, is a plus.
  • A Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain your Hazmat upon contingency of offer.
  • A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is essential and at least 21 years of age.

Qualifications

  • High degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver our products with routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
  • Frequent bending, walking, standing, and driving for up to 8 hours a day of hazardous cargo.

Skills

  • The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and read/comprehend material safety data sheets.
