Local CDL Delivery Driver

About the role

We are hiring a Local CDL Delivery Driver in Little Rock, AR. The role involves operating a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Key responsibilities include collecting empty cylinders from customers, handling customer inquiries, conducting pre/post-trip vehicle checks, and maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
• Collects empty cylinders from customers.
• Records transactions and obtains signatures.
• Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction.
• Handles loading/unloading.
• Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance.
• Presents a professional appearance and upkeeps the vehicle's condition.

Requirements

• At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience that is verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years.
• Or a recent graduate from an accredited driving school.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude, is a plus.
• A Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain your Hazmat upon contingency of offer.
• A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is essential and at least 21 years of age.

Qualifications

• A high degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver our products with routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Frequent bending, walking, standing, and driving for up to 8 hours a day of hazardous cargo.

Pay

Pay begins at $28/hour with eligibility for Quarterly Bonuses, Sign On Bonus, and/or Referral Bonus (If applicable).

Schedule

Full-time consistent scheduling, Monday through Friday, with possible alternating weekends on call in case of business needs.
