Local CDL A Yard and Shuttle Driver position in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. Temp-to-hire assignment with potential for permanent placement. Automatic transmission.

About the Role

• Mostly yard jockey work, with occasional local shuttle runs outside the yard
• Equipment: Day cab and yard truck
• No-touch freight

Schedule

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM

Pay

$28.25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Requirements

• CDL A license
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
