Local CDL A Yard and Shuttle Driver - $27.75 hr - Fri, Sat, Sun

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Mountain Top, PA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $27.75 per hour

Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 10 AM to 10 PM

Job Details

• Mostly yard jockey work, but will need to leave the yard at times for local shuttle runs
• Freight / Load Type: Shuttling trailers
• Equipment: Day Cab & Yard Truck
• Handling: No-touch freight (yard jockey/shuttle runs)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Requirements

• CDL A license
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• No endorsements required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
