Local CDL A Driver position in Richmond, VA with TransForce, supporting local operations on a Monday through Friday schedule.

About the role

This is a local driving position offering steady work, daily home time, and a consistent schedule. You will operate a 53' dry van, transporting linens in rolling carts between Richmond, VA and Springfield, VA.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Start time: 2:00 PM
• Home daily

Pay

$27.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53' dry van on local routes
• Transport linens in rolling carts while following DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Unload rolling carts at customer locations and reload equipment at the end of the day
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries

Requirements

• Valid CDL A (CDL B candidates with straight truck experience may be considered)
• Minimum 1 year of recent, verifiable commercial driving experience
• Ability to safely operate a 53' dry van with automatic transmission
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents within the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
