CDL A Route Driver - $29/HR

About the role

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Route Driver for a local dry‑van position based in Jamesburg, New Jersey. The role covers local routes throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including New York City’s five boroughs, Manhattan, Long Island, and the Newburgh area. Routes are rotated to provide variety day to day. The position is a temp‑to‑hire assignment, operating an automatic transmission vehicle with light‑touch handling of freight.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A dry‑van on local routes.
• Transport general freight throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
• Complete approximately 5 to 10 stops per day.
• Load and unload freight as needed (light‑touch handling).
• Follow all applicable safety, DOT, and FMCSA regulations.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Pay

$29 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, start times between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., approximately 40 hours per week.
