About the role

Responsibilities

  • Clean all public/shared spaces including lobby areas, soft seating areas, entrances, hallways, stairwells, restaurant areas, banquet spaces, employee and guest restrooms, and exterior public spaces.
  • Sweep, vacuum, Swiffer, and mop floors to maintain high levels of cleanliness.
  • Wipe down and sanitize all surfaces using appropriate chemical agents.
  • Remove all waste in designated spaces.
  • Maintain guest and employee restrooms by cleaning toilets, sinks, counters, removing waste, and restocking daily.
  • Clean exterior public spaces such as patios, dust exterior lighting, collect bottles/glassware, and remove trash.
  • Greet and interact with guests professionally and courteously, addressing guest requests and ensuring guest privacy.
  • Handle lost and found items and report them to the front desk.
  • Restock laundry carts and housekeeping closets daily, replenishing paper products and replacing used disposable items.
  • Ensure heat/air conditioning is set to default temperature.
  • Adhere to security procedures for guest room and master keys.
  • Communicate with other departments regarding maintenance work orders and front desk issues.
  • Assist guests with luggage, especially for large groups.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Aid in training new staff as requested.

Qualifications

  • Professional cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Flexible availability to work weekdays and weekends.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sincere enthusiasm for the role and cleanliness.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely manner.
  • Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and maintain focus.
