The first thing someone experiences when they arrive at a building sets the tone for everything that follows. You're that first thing. As a Lobby Ambassador, your job is to make arrivals and departures feel smooth, welcoming, and professional. You greet tenants by name, manage the visitor check-in process, answer questions about the building, and make sure the lobby always looks and feels the way it should. This is a hospitality role grounded in consistency. The value you create isn't in occasional big moments — it's in showing up the same way every single day, so tenants know exactly what to expect when they walk through the door. This is an in-person position that requires standing for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Every tenant is greeted by name.
- Every guest knows exactly where to go.
- Every arrival feels easy.
- The lobby is always clean, organized, and ready.
- Facilities and IT issues are escalated before anyone has to ask.
- Greet tenants by name every time they enter or leave the building.
- Manage the visitor system: pre-register guests, check them in, and guide them to their destinations.
- Keep the lobby clean and welcoming; report and escalate any facilities or IT issues.
- Act as the first point of contact for any activities or emergencies in the lobby.
- Learn and memorize building FAQs so you can confidently answer questions about the building, amenities, and nearby restaurants or services.
- Join daily standup meetings to prepare for expected events and arrivals.
- Help track tenant preferences as part of the tenant experience team.
- Always embody Industrious and landlord service values in every interaction.
