Loan Servicing Specialist II

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
• Board all loan, leases, commitments, SWAPs, mortgage pools, letters of credit, participations/syndications, SBA loans, FAS91 cost and fee deferrals and collateral
• Board all maintenance transactions.
• Fund all loans, except those requiring funding via Wire transfer or Official Check Process next-day callback
• Process and maintain charge-off and recovery transactions associated with Lease
• Maintain all required reports.
• Prepare and respond to requests for payoff
• Process research requests, as received
• Respond to customer inquiries
• Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; and a minimum 3 years loan servicing experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret loan system reports and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies.
• Ability to effectively present information to department management, credit administrators and relationship managers.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Proficient in the use of mainframe loan systems, preferably FISERV.
• Proficient in the use of PC based loan systems, preferably Lease Complete.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations not required.
