Loan Servicing Specialist - Consumer Lending

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain ACH payments.
• Process installment loan payoffs.
• Process returned checks on loan payments.
• Process monetary adjustments to loan records.
• Maintain general ledger reconciliations for various cost centers.
• Verify signatures on advance checks for home equity and cash value credit lines.
• Disburse monthly statements and earnings to car dealerships for the purchase of indirect auto loans.
• Monitor and research daily reports for BSA compliance.
• Review various Miser reports for accuracy.
• Prepare monthly reports for senior management.
• Absorb assistance with special projects when required.

Required Skills

• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good phone skills needed for customer contact.
• Basic PC skills including general understanding of databases and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Ability to work with complex figures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required Experience

• A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of three years' related bookkeeping experience.
• An associate's degree or three plus years of accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred.
