Responsibilities

  • Board Consumer/HELOC loans to the Core Banking system, ensuring complete and accurate setup of loan terms, payment schedules, rates, and collateral in alignment with documentation and Bank standards.
  • Board Business Banking and Commercial loans (basic to moderate) to the Core Banking system, ensuring complete and accurate setup of loan terms, payment schedules, rates, and collateral in alignment with documentation and Bank standards.
  • Board and service purchased and/or servicing-purchased loans (basic in nature, e.g., NOAH, WCRA) to the Core Banking system, adhering to Bank standards.
  • Perform daily loan maintenance, process payments, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process payoffs for loans (basic to moderate).
  • Handle boarding, incoming and outgoing payments, and maintenance of the Contract Servicing process.
  • Provide responsive customer service to internal and external clients, resolving inquiries professionally.
  • Review reports and balance general ledgers (basic to moderate).
  • Complete administrative functions, including mail processing, supply ordering, and other departmental support tasks.
  • Participate in and complete training objectives with passing scores.
  • Follow all Riverview Bank policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of loan servicing functions and related regulations (e.g., CRA, HMDA, RESPA).
  • Proficiency in computers, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to understand components of loan operations programs/software, including core and internet-based applications.
  • Ability to work with limited guidance to complete tasks within quality and time standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address practical issues in standard situations.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions, interpret procedures, and read company manuals.
  • Basic correspondence writing skills.
  • Ability to calculate percentages, ratios, fractions, and apply basic accounting practices.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment.

Skills

  • Effective communication via phone, video, messaging, and email.
  • Proficiency with office equipment (computer, printer, copier) and software (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to occupy a workstation for extended periods.
