Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Bank loan products and procedures.
- Perform loan system maintenance in accordance with department processes and procedures, including scanning, as directed.
- Aid with onboarding, verification, and ongoing maintenance of accounts or records within core systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness for each transaction.
- Support introductory-level of account closures or payoffs by maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely completion, preparing documentation, and distributing required correspondence.
- Accurately and efficiently process a variety of transactions, payments, and related postings according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor consumer credit reporting, including inquiry, research, and disputes.
- Respond professionally and knowledgably to internal and external inquiries related to assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience in loan operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Ability to interpret a variety of information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Proficiency in using computers and office products (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and demonstrate willingness and desire to interact in a team environment.
