Loan Processor

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple consumer and mortgage loan pipelines simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and service standards.
• Prepare and send loan closing packages to members.
• Review executed loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Book and fund loans within the Credit Union’s core processing systems.
• Cook up and track post-closing documentation from dealers, insurance providers, attorneys, and other third parties.
• Review loan files and documentation to ensure compliance with Credit Union policies, investor requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Process residential mortgage applications and follow up with members for required documentation.
• Enhance key lending operations by coordinating critical closing, funding, documentation, and quality control activities to facilitate successful loan origination and portfolio management.
• Support cross-functional lending operations through cross-training and backup coverage.

* Experience in consumer lending, mortgage processing, loan operations, financial services, or a related field. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Working knowledge of loan documentation, funding processes, and regulatory requirements. * Excellent communication and follow-up skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. * Proficiency with lending systems, core processing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and business partners. * Commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience.
