Loan Processor

Position Highlights

• Work closely with homebuyers, loan consultants, and underwriters
• Facilitate the gathering and processing of documentation necessary for mortgage loan approval
• Ensure documentation meets applicable guidelines or underwriting conditions
• Manage pipeline deadlines to meet purchase contract close of escrow deadlines
• Attend departmental and compliance training
• Meet minimum production requirements and closed loans on time

Position Responsibilities

• Review file for completeness
• Review underwriting guidelines
• Review and ensure documentation is acceptable
• Run automated underwriting systems
• Communicate with internal and external parties
• Manage loan files and submit change of circumstance requests
• Order third party verifications
• Maintain updated communication logs or other status reports
• Attend departmental meetings
• Monitor loan files

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in a loan processing role; purchase/builder business preferred
• MS Office; including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Encompass LOS experience preferred
• Ability to work in office located in Scottsdale, AZ; hybrid/remote may be considered for select markets
