Loan Processor

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversight of loan processing from initial receipt to final approval
• Verification of correct file stacking order, AU findings, and documentation completeness
• Inputting changes into computer systems and re-running for accurate AU determinations
• Updating all parties on file status
• Submitting files to a DHI Underwriter at a Regional Underwriting Center and reviewing conditions
• Compliance with Quality Control policies and attendance at QC meetings
• Reviewing DHI Mortgage required checklists and responding to QC write-ups within 10 calendar days
• Monitoring Loan Processor, Project to Close, and Timeline Exception reports daily
• Weekly review of the Loans in Process Report
• Reviewing Loan Officer's "needs list"
• Maintaining an accurate communication log
• Attending weekly processor meetings as directed by the Branch Manager
• Reconciling the Fee Summary Sheet
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions
• Proficiency with MS Office and email

• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to accurately and efficiently process and record large amounts of data
