About the role

Join a team focused on different aspects of the post-closing loan lifecycle including funding, boarding, servicing, and payoff. Work with third-parties, lending teams, and other operational departments to ensure excellent internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Process all monetary aspects of funding loans including initial and subsequent disbursements, other types of draws, and processing of transactions associated with purchased and sold participations.
  • Reconcile general ledger and operational accounts.
  • Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy to book loans and credit cards to the core processing system and onboard the loan into other applications and internal tracking systems.
  • Identify critical original documentation needed for preservation and loan maintenance and monitoring pursuant to loan documentation and other lending guidelines.
  • Handle all aspects of servicing loans and credit cards including customer service, loan and collateral maintenance (rate/payment changes, availability, calculation and billing of additional fees, insurance, taxes, trailing documents, etc.).
  • Administer loan escrow accounts and payments, payoff requests, lien releases, credit bureau reporting, and tasks associated with tax reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years in loan operations, servicing, or banking.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-centric environment.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
  • Proficient in the use of technology including loan origination and core banking systems.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to work both independently as a self-starter and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Motivated and open to change.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with Google-based products (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, nCino, or FIS Bankway is a plus.

Schedule

Able to work a flexible work schedule including overtime as well as travel as needed.
