JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the overall performance of the loan operations functions within the bank by ensuring the Loan Operations team delivers timely, professional and accurate service while meeting appropriate service level agreements. Facilitate implementation of products/services that affect loan operations by participating in projects through the Project Management Office and working with other affected business lines to ensure success. Manages, directs, coordinates and supervises all aspects of the Loan Operations team; seeking efficiencies and implementing scalable solutions. Works closely with business partners to implement solutions. Player/coach role that completes quality assurance reviews of complex loan transactions. Ensure own work and the work of the Loan Operations team are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Optimize team talents by providing leadership and coaching to individuals by: Establishing clear goals that tie to the vision and mission of the business.Championing the culture with your team and across the organization.Determine staffing needs; Recruit, hire and onboard talentInvest in the growth of each team member through coaching and development plans.Managing employee performance issues in a timely manner and adhering to employment policies.2. Oversee the functionality of the Loan Operations department in order to:Ensure the timely and accurate completion of servicing, booking, documenting, reporting and quality assurance reviews.Monitor system maintenance and provide production support.Analyze quality and exception trends to determine root cause.Achieve satisfactory audits and compliance reviews by ensuring ongoing compliance with Federal and State regularity. guidelines and adherence to established policies and procedures. Ensure findings are addressed timely and thoroughly.Implement departmental process improvements and/or cost savings.Establish and manage department priorities and team workloads.Ensure appropriate training is provided to effectively complete all tasks.Monitor services offered and recommend changes, updates and department restructuring as necessary.Ensure delivery of high-quality service by team members to internal and external customers.3. Manage or assist with system upgrades and roll outs of new products and services by:Partnering with all applicable departmentsFocusing on efficienciesDeveloping scale-able processesActing as Project Representative to implement, test and train new products affecting the Loan operations team.Monitoring performance of new products/services to ensure ongoing success4. Support Corporate Objectives by:Reviewing and assuring implementation of procedures align with bank policies and regulatory requirements.Measuring effectiveness of existing procedures by consistent, on-going function review in order to recommend process improvements and integration of necessary controls.Completion of ongoing risk assessments and management of appropriate controls.Meeting or exceeding budgeted and forecasted financial performance goals.Determining appropriate staffing levels and ensuring these levels are met.Maintaining integrity of loan data in systems and externally reported data through participation in the data. JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation-Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related and progressive experienceExperience-Required: 5- 8 years of experience in loan operations including at least 2 years of supervision of others.Preferred: 8- 12 years of experience in loan operations with experience in FISERV, LaserPro and supervision of others. SCHEDULEThis position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm in a hybrid capacity. The Company reserves the right to change the schedule as required for business needs.
