Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with borrowers, real estate agents, and referral partners
- Aid in loan structuring, scenario review, and borrower guidance
- Manage and communicate pipeline updates while coordinating with processors
- Collect and review documentation with an understanding of guidelines and deal flow
- Communicate with lenders, title companies, insurance agents, and third parties
- Support business development and ongoing referral relationships
Ideal Background
- 3+ years as a Senior LOA, Loan Partner, or Co-Originator
- Strong knowledge of loan products, guidelines, and the full mortgage lifecycle
- Comfortable owning borrower communication and supporting deal strategy
- Highly organized, proactive, and relationship-focused
Compensation
- $55,000 - $65,000 base salary
- CORE + bonus $15,000-20,000
- Total first year $70,000-$85,000, depending on loan volume
- Up to $75,000 - $85,000 yearly
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of professional office environment experience, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant
- PREFERRED: Degree in banking or finance, high school diploma or equivalent
- NMLS license or training, though not required
- MS Office proficiency required; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
- Advanced understanding of different loan products, including conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
