Loan Officer (Inside Sales)

About the role
The Loan Officer - Reverse Inside Sales is a consumer direct loan officer who originates mortgages using the company’s leads, processes and technology. This position is under direct supervision from the sales managers and is paid hourly in addition to commission. The role provides excellent customer service with borrowers through completing the origination processing of application, loan disclosure, and review files for adherence to underwriting standards, ensuring completeness of submission to processing.
Responsibilities
- Receive and make calls based on leads using the company’s technology.
- Analyze credit report and financial scenario, determining appropriate loan product(s).
- Determine (price) a profitable loan and communicate fees to ops team.
- Obtain executed disclosures within regulations time frame.
- Resolve file problems, bottlenecks, and qualifying issues throughout production and underwriting process.
- Provide administrative support in the collection and preparation of submitting loan application with supporting documentation to processing.
- Coordinate, create, track, and distribute marketing materials.
- Manage client and referral partner databases.
- Answer customer inquiries involving rates, products, and loan application status to ensure quality customer service.
- Keep up to date with company approved programs and software systems; implement and execute new systems for team and clients.
- Provide marketing support by coordinating, creating, obtaining compliance approval, tracking, and distributing advertising materials as needed.
- Monitor key dates related to loan transactions and respond accordingly.
- Send loan forms, disclosures, agreements, and other supporting documentation to customers for completion and signature; manage the collection of completed documents accordingly.
- Manage assigned originator's database; tracking active loan(s) and entering data as needed.
- Maintain customer contact to ensure follow-up of loan application and answer basic inquiries.
- Perform any other reasonable duties required by Guild Mortgage Company or Managing Loan Officer.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Minimum two years' experience in Mortgage lending or related field.
- Active MLO licensing, required.
- NMLS certification required.

Schedule
Work is primarily performed during the business week, Monday - Friday.
Pay
Target salary range: $17.47 - $29.12 per hour. Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
