Loan Officer Assistant (LOA)

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing elite service to internal and external clients
• Following up with new leads to ensure they are engaged in the loan process
• Learning investor guidelines, lending policies, and the required documentation, policy and procedures of the business
• Applying knowledge and judgment to proactively anticipate needs for new leads
• Developing strong computer skills, including the extensive use of web-based applications
• Maintaining coordination of application and finance quote updates with new clients

What We Need From You

• Must Have Qualifications:
• No fear of making phone calls
• The desire to serve military members
• Absolutely no fear of making phone calls
• Associates Degree or higher
• Minimum 12 months experience in Mortgage or Client Service Industry
• Work experience with using complex logic and problem solving skills
• Above average ability to work with numbers and basic finance calculations
• Advanced computer experience – ability to multitask on dual monitors
• Willingness to learn and be coached
• Adaptable to a flexible, fast-changing industry
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic
• Ability to take accountability for actions
• Nice To Have Qualifications:
• Military experience (or knowing someone close who served)
• Bachelor’s degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Handling escalated client service situations over the phone
