About the Role

This position assists the loan officer and processor with the workflow on each transaction, including chasing documents, following up with title and insurance companies, and providing status updates to realtors, builders, sellers, and borrowers.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the processor with Loan Status Gram email/fax to all pertinent loan parties.
  • Attends processor meetings with management to report the progress of each loan projected to fund in a given month.
  • Assists Loan Officer with scheduling pre-qualification and application appointments.
  • Assists Loan Officer with scheduling business development calls/appointments, including realtors, builders, and qualifying brokers.
  • Assists Loan Officer with post-closing markets.
  • Assists Loan Officer with inputting loans into databases.

Qualifications

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally handle difficult situations that may arise when working with branches/divisions.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Familiarity with accounting terms and procedures (e.g., debits, credits, General Ledgers, etc.).

Preferences

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol.
  • Ability to type 50 wpm.
  • Reporting skills, administrative writing skills, process management, organization, analysis, professionalism, problem-solving, supply management, inventory control.

Work Requirements

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, utilize a computer, maintain a work schedule, and perform effectively in an office setting.
  • Compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations, as well as PRMI policies.
  • Ability to work extended hours may be required.
