Loan Officer Assistant

Responsibilities

• Primary contact between clients and Loan Originators
• Manage a pipeline and collect necessary loan documentation
• Prepare files for a weekly pipeline review with the mortgage processor and track status
• Contact customers regarding required loan documentation and prepare for review
• Track all requested documents using Encompass
• Comply with applicable state and federal compliance guidelines and company policies

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mortgage or banking industry experience supporting a branch or loan officer
• Demonstrated attention to detail and careful decision-making skills
• Knowledgeable in regulatory, policy, and compliance issues related to the mortgage industry
• Able to meet deadlines and prioritize a changing workload
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensing requirements include satisfactory completion of background checks, fingerprinting, credit reports, testing, and continuing education
