About the role

Reporting to the Security Manager, you will:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other people to maintain security and safety of the premises.
• Keep records/reports of daily activities and authorized people entering and exiting the area.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Document irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates to preserve safety, order, and venue property.
• Authenticate and ensure only authorized vehicles are in compound and secure areas.
• Warn people of rule infractions or violations and uphold Live Nation back-of-house security protocol with all crew and guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and sound judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+, and occasional sitting.
• Ability to maintain full attention on post for 8-10 hours without the use of electronic devices or other distractions.

Physical Demands

• Working environment is fast-paced, often loud, and stressful.
• Requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 45 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
• Position works at an outdoor venue during inclement weather as needed.
