Loader Operator - Georgetown, KY

About the role

Operate big equipment and contribute to the smooth operation of SRM Concrete's concrete plants.

Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials like sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure materials are available for production.
• Work alongside your crew and production team to maintain a consistent workflow.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report any issues to the team.
• Help keep the work area clean and organized.
• Count inventory and alert the team if supplies are low.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Be flexible and ready to assist with various tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols
• Basic equipment maintenance skills
• Team-oriented and communicative
• Physically capable of handling the demands of the job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (helpful but not required)
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings

Skills

• Experience operating heavy machinery
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Pay

Hourly pay with overtime after 8 hours, plus eligibility for bonuses and annual raises.

Schedule

We are closed every Sunday, providing a daily work schedule and time off for personal activities.
