Loader Operator - Danville, KY

About the role

Operate big equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement at SRM Concrete's plants. Keep operations moving by loading and unloading trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors. Work closely with your crew and production team to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials around the plant.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure materials are available.
• Work alongside your crew and production team to maintain schedule.
• Check equipment before and after shifts and report issues to the team.
• Ensure the work area is clean and organized.
• Count inventory and alert the team if supplies are low.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve processes.
• Be ready to assist with any task, whether it's helping a teammate or tackling a challenging job.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to learn and work hard
• Physical ability to handle a demanding job
• Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance
• Team player with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (helpful but not required)
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings

Skills

• Experience operating heavy machinery
• Strong safety awareness and adherence
• Good physical fitness
• Effective communication skills

Pay

Hourly pay with overtime after 8 hours, plus eligibility for bonuses and annual raises.
