Loader Operator

About the Role

Join SRM Concrete as a Loader Operator and take pride in operating powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to keep our concrete operations running smoothly. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to move materials, support production, and help build the future of your community.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure materials are always available for production.
• Collaborate with your crew and production team to maintain schedules and workflow.
• Perform pre- and post-shift equipment checks and report any maintenance needs to ensure safety and reliability.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear required gear, and contribute to a safe work environment for everyone.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent material shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to help improve operations and processes.
• Be ready to assist teammates or tackle challenging tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Experience operating loaders or other heavy machinery is a plus, but we provide training for hardworking individuals willing to learn.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong commitment to safety—yours and your team’s—and willingness to speak up about potential hazards.
• Ability to perform equipment checks and handle basic maintenance.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and a readiness to work.
• Physical ability to handle a job that involves movement in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Schedule

Local work with home-daily shifts. Closed every Sunday to ensure time for yourself and your family.
