About the role
We are seeking a Wheel Loader Operator for our Reostone Asphalt Plant in Nashville, TN. The successful candidate will have previous experience operating a mid-to-large size, wheeled loader and an uncompromising commitment to safety excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate a wheeled loader around the plant to load aggregate products into the various bins for asphalt production.
- Operate various other pieces of heavy equipment as production needs require, at the discretion of the plant manager and foreman.
- Support and clean-up around the asphalt plant.
- Perform general maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Complete various general labor tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- At least one year of experience operating a mid-to-large wheeled front-end loader (e.g., CAT 980, CAT 988, or Komatsu WA500-8).
- Ability to perform general labor, maintenance, and clean-up duties around the asphalt plant.
- Experience operating other heavy equipment (e.g., track hoe, backhoe, skid steer) preferred.
- Experience working around an asphalt plant preferred.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration requirement.

Pay
Starting at $24.00/hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-time day shift (some weekend work required).
