Loader Level I

Essential Responsibilities

• Load product within a warehouse facility.
• Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within or between storage facilities.
• Meet productivity standards and complete work in timely manner.
• Perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of warehouse
• Adhere to all safety procedures/standards within the course of performing job duties.
• Conduct inventory check with accuracy and promptness.
• Keep jobs together
• Properly tag jobs
• Hang parts using proper equipment provided
• Inspect for any defects
• Help train Level I employees

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred
• Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; Good computer skills. Operation monitoring, quality control analysis, critical thinking, active listening, troubleshooting, complex problem solving, equipment maintenance and reading comprehension. Abilities: Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints; Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion; Ability to apply principles of logical thinking of a wide range of practical problems; Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
