About the role
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Loader. This position operates second shift, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Checks for incoming materials to ensure production continuity.
- Ensures the work area is clean and performs necessary housekeeping tasks.
- Must be able to identify parts that do not meet specifications.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to reject defective materials that do not meet quality standards.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Flexibility with production hours.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to reject bad materials that do not meet quality standards.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
- Sustain repetitive motions using arms and hands.
- Able to maintain a safe working environment conducive to productivity.
- Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
- Good understanding of quality control.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

This is a second shift position, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
