About the role

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Loader. This position operates second shift, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Checks for incoming materials to ensure production continuity.
• Ensures the work area is clean and performs necessary housekeeping tasks.
• Must be able to identify parts that do not meet specifications.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to reject defective materials that do not meet quality standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Flexibility with production hours.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to reject bad materials that do not meet quality standards.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
• Sustain repetitive motions using arms and hands.
• Able to maintain a safe working environment conducive to productivity.
• Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
• Good understanding of quality control.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

This is a second shift position, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
