About the role

The Loader 2 position is an entry-level role that is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments. Loaders play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of shipping operations and ensuring that products are delivered and received in good condition.

Responsibilities

- Understands and follows safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment. - Employs a range of crating and packaging resources, including metal bands and protective coverings, to ensure parts are securely fastened and safeguarded during transport. - Proficient in operating forklifts and other lifting equipment. - Responsible for each lift, deciding when to check actual vs maximum allowable trailer load. - Assists with inventory counts as required. - Maintains practices for continuous improvement within the work area.

Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. - Must be able to pass a drug test. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Skills

- Strong attention to detail. - Ability to follow safety protocols. - Proficiency in operating forklifts and other lifting equipment.

Pay and Schedule

- Pay: 22-24 per hour. - Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 am - 4:00 pm).

Schedule

- Full-time (30+ hours per week).
