What You’ll Be Doing
Inspect loads for quality, weight, packaging, hazardous materials, and safety.
Direct traffic throughout the facility to ensure loads are dumped in the proper locations.
Report load inspections to scale operator(s) to correctly pay customers for their materials.
Write inspection reports and metal tickets as needed.
Skills You Have
- Enjoy an active role where no two days are the same
- Ability to communicate well with customers and coworkers
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in all elements such as rain, cold, and heat
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
Other Job Demands
- Working in an outdoor environment
- Near moving mechanical parts
- Exposure to all weather conditions
- Noise level in the environment can be loud and will require ear protection
- Sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and standing
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Working in confined spaces
