We are looking for an innovative thought leader for this role, someone who will help transform our Leave of Absence program into a world-class experience and mentor other Benefit analysts on the team. Someone who can make Adobe’s Benefits philosophy come alive by leading benefits programs across US & Canada. This role will be based in the US at our San Francisco or San Jose Office. What You Will Do We identify the following primary responsibilities for this role. However, the list is not exhaustive as priorities might vary. Lead Benefits Program Management Support leadership in the execution of strategic goals, multi-year benefit planning, deliver on program objectives, supply industry best practices, conduct market benchmarking, and help with operational initiatives. Develop strong partnerships with Payroll, Legal, Employee Relations, HR Business Partners, Risk, EX/TR Operations, EX Tech, Accommodations team, Finance, VMO and other stakeholders. Financial management and oversight of the benefit programs, including overseeing self-funded plans, and annual fringe budget planning. Direct the annual POs process and ensure vendor invoice payment. Plan and execute special projects throughout the year, such as request for proposal (RFP) processes, vendor implementations, plan design changes, and ad-hoc projects with internal business partners. Compliance & Operations Supervise all compliance activities and set up statutory plans, ensuring the programs are meeting all state, federal and provincial compliance, as well as adherence to company policies and applicable leave laws. Setting up new state plans, responding timely to implementation deadlines, employee communications and annual notice requirements and filings. Track and analyze absence data and metrics, as well as operational trends, workflow efficiencies, service delivery, and program effectiveness. Ensure all operational compliance through program audits, employee communications, documentation reviews, Adobe pay practices, monitoring regulatory requirements. Using an innovative mind to address systemic issues with swift corrective action. Day-To-Day Activities Drive resolution on complex leave and life cases, including intermittent leave, extension requests, return-to-work and ADA-related leave requests. Oversee third-party vendor management including performance, service delivery, addressing operational concerns, renewals, and all the day-to-day leave administration providing a world-class white glove experience. Provide and maintain impactful training materials for managers, HR business partners, employees and employee resource center regarding leave policy and practice. Assist answering questions from people managers, employees and HR business partners, relating to leaves in US&C. Support Workers Compensation process by partnering with Risk and Global Security teams. What You Need To Succeed 7+ years of directly applicable and progressive benefit program management experience in leave administration, benefits management, consulting, or case management experience. Strong knowledge of leave practice and regulations for FMLA and ADA leave processes, state leave laws, VDI self-funded plan, military provisions, general provincial laws and rights, accommodations, other federal regulations, and return-to-work practices. Experience administering complex benefit programs for large, multi-state employer, implementing innovative operational business processes and practices. Demonstrated experience managing complex leave cases, implementing business process excellence, providing stellar employee experience, utilizing HRIS/leave management systems, monitoring compliance, and providing operational effectiveness and sound decision-making. Knowledge of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) regulations, ADA, HIPAA, and other applicable federal, state, and local laws governing benefits. Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills, as well as ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee information. Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail. Grounded in magical customer experiences, ability to see all aspects of the leave experience and continually evolve the program to maintain a high-quality end-to-end experience. Effective at multi-tasking while keeping calm and energetic. You can do hard things that deliver impactful results. Applying critical thinking to a highly complex program, partnering effectively with internal business partners and organizational leaders. Able to raise the bar on AI application in the leave space whether that is using AI agents, chat bots, or altering vendors' service delivery model. Having an AI-first mindset a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Required education may be substituted by additional years of experience. Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) professional certification, a plus. Expected Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $93,600 -- $200,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $138,600 - $200,700 At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
