Scope Of Position

The Licensed Nursing Assistant Apprentice Program will provide you with the basic nursing skills to prepare you for a successful career in healthcare while working for Rockingham County.

Course Requirements
- Ability to be accepted into any of the following LNA Programs (application provided separately by Rockingham County)
- LNA Health Careers (Manchester, NH)
- Manchester Community College (Manchester, NH)
- NHTI Community College (Concord, NH)
- Great Bay Community College (Portsmouth, NH)
- 50-60 hours of online theory
- Up to 24 hours of in-person, pre-clinical laboratory
- 60 hours of on-site clinical
- State test after completion of the course and successful passing of the exam within 3 attempts during the span of 3 months
- Continued full-time employment for one (1) consecutive year at Rockingham County as an LNA upon receipt of license.
Required Education And Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
- Submit a brief essay, up to 200 words, addressing the following items:
