About the role
The National Sustainability Coordinator supports administrative, analytical, and resource development support across Live Nation's U.S. amphitheater portfolio. This role works closely with the Sustainability Operations Manager to support sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, reuse, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Update and evolve training resources and presentation decks
- Maintain and update the Venue Sustainability SharePoint Hub
- Coordinate venue resources including training toolkits/resources and orientation decks
- Support the implementation of cross-department programming
- Conduct periodic venue site visits to support operations and identify areas of improvement
- Monitor venue sustainability performance through internal dashboards
- Support internal management by coordinating new data integrations
- Summarize venue analytics into clear and visual mid-season and post-season reports
- Monitor environmental mandates and legislation affecting venue markets
- Research and coordinate submissions to third-party recognition systems
Requirements
- At least 2 years in operations/event coordination or event/campus sustainability/zero waste events
- Demonstrated experience in data and analytics, supply chain and waste systems, marketing and communications, built environment, energy systems and policy, NGO and community partnerships, climate resiliency
- Comprehensive understanding of technical environmental concepts and their unique impacts on the live music and entertainment industry
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in using SharePoint, Google Drive, Asana, Airtable, and Tableau for program management and organization
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to adjust to changing demands
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and self-direction in completing tasks
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to various stakeholders
- Creative systems thinker and problem solver
- Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
- Ability to travel, including weekends
