About the role

The LMS Configuration Specialist will work onsite in Chantilly, VA, serving as advanced functional application support. This highly collaborative role plays a critical part in educating client staff and supporting the rollout of the Meridian Learning Management System (LMS) to the workforce by preparing information and training materials, documenting workflows, supporting implementation decisions, and transitioning existing content into the LMS.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the standards, procedures, reporting (including creating and running standard and ad hoc reports), and overall functionality of the Meridian LMS, including implementing features that deliver enhanced personalization, accessibility, and efficiency in managing administrative and reporting requirements.
  • Work with the client to develop best approaches for using the Meridian software to accomplish their LMS objectives.
  • Define configuration requirements and create supporting functional designs in collaboration with the client.
  • Collaborate with, consult, and advise instructional designers and other key stakeholders on the LMS environment to support content development and deployment.
  • Support global system administrators in the use of the Meridian LMS.
  • Create detailed, ad hoc job aids as needed.
  • Work with cross-functional project teams through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to document and translate business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot application and implementation issues by researching questions, providing solutions, and taking ownership of problems.
  • Provide product feedback (customer requirements, product shortcomings, enhancements, etc.) to product management and/or development.
  • Conduct informal and formal training sessions on topics relevant to client staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Active Federal Government TS Security Clearance with TS/SCI Full Scope Poly (ISSA).

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of Learning Management Systems experience (preferred).
  • Experience administering and coordinating regulatory and/or compliance training (preferred).
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential data securely and discretely.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Independent decision-making and sound judgment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and proactively problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$150,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
