Mobile Crisis Supervisor overseeing the daytime operations of the Living Room Program, ensuring service delivery aligns with all program guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the DAYTIME Living Room system, including referral intake and client emergencies.
  • Assists with 24/7 on-call responsibilities to ensure staff access to leadership at all times.
  • Reviews client intake information and determines referral acceptance and case assignment.
  • Oversees case responsibilities and provides guidance in case planning.
  • Provides weekly supervision to professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic approaches and administrative case support.
  • Reviews all written documents created by staff.
  • Reviews funding source policies and procedures, updates procedures to meet state requirements, and trains staff to implement them.
  • Ensures consistency in case files by reviewing documentation.
  • Ensures staff handles unusual incidents promptly and effectively.
  • Completes various outcome reports as required.
  • Participates in required meetings and trainings with the funding source.
  • Provides staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, and support.
  • Engages staff in professional development.
  • Monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Ensures adherence to contractual obligations with the funding source.
  • Ensures billing accuracy and timeliness; completes billing procedures for private contracts when necessary.
  • Handles client, staff, caretaker, and collateral complaints and grievances.
  • Conducts regular unit/team meetings with staff.
  • Participates in collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and presence, creating community linkages and opportunities.
  • Participates in public speaking engagements to promote agency programs and services.
  • Participates in agency management meetings and work groups.
  • Assists CQI in developing agency documentation to enhance programming and meet funding source requirements.
  • Works to ensure quality of service and achievement of program outcome goals.
  • Provides direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff.
  • Manages case assignments to ensure equal distribution and maintain appropriate staff-to-client ratios.
  • Ensures adequate client contact is maintained according to program guidelines and minimum required contact hours are achieved monthly.
  • Ensures staff closely monitor client safety and respond appropriately to risks.
  • Completes and submits performance appraisals in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a positive organizational culture.
  • Oversees interns.
  • Performs duties independently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s in Human Services or related field.
  • License preferred: LCPC, LCSW, LSOE, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of related experience in leadership.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with required auto insurance coverage.

  • Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Suite environment; adaptable to expanding software applications.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and capable of handling multiple priorities/projects with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a team environment.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Resourceful in researching issues and developing solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills (verbal, written, active listening).
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships.
  • Proven problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and ensure confidentiality.
