Day Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Aid in the training of the cleaning team.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
- Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
- Report work orders for maintenance.
- Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Manager; check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Complete order forms completely and accurately.
- Cookordination equipment usage and inventories.
- Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
- Maintain daily shift report for managers.
- Perform basic administrative, payroll, and attendance functions (as required).
- Maintain communication with Account Managers to monitor and maintain optimum staffing levels.
- Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks.
- Ensure that shift schedules are complete (days off, vacations, etc.) a week in advance.
- Work with leadership to ensure all callouts are covered.
- Accommodate increased/decreased client staffing requests.
- Manage the No-Fault Attendance Policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Two (2) years of Janitorial Supervisor experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff.
About the Role
This is a standing and walking post, with regular patrolling of building common areas, lobbies, restrooms, tenant floors, and back-of-house spaces.
