Livestock Feed & Nutrition Account Manager - Beef Focus
Position Summary
The Livestock Feed & Nutrition Account Manager is a sales-focused role responsible for driving growth through the promotion and sale of animal nutrition products and services. This position partners with livestock producers to deliver tailored feeding solutions that improve animal performance, optimize efficiency, and enhance profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business and expand relationships with livestock producers within an assigned territory
- Promote and sell animal nutrition products, programs, and services to meet customer needs
- Provide consultative support on feeding strategies, herd performance, and production goals
- Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes through nutrition and management solutions
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve volume, revenue, and margin targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with customers and industry partners
- Collaborate with internal teams (nutrition, operations, marketing, and sales) to support business growth
- Utilize CRM tools to manage accounts, track performance, and maintain accurate records
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and trade shows as needed
